You will no longer need to wait in long queues to get your groceries billed at the Amazon Go grocery store in Seattle. The recently opened outlet is Amazon's first cashier-less supermarket that uses artificial intelligence, cameras and sensors to monitor everything that you have bought. The payment is made via the customers' Amazon account on the app. Upon entering the store, customers need to scan their smartphones, so the store can figure out what they are buying. The experience was made possible using the same technology used in self-driving cars, according to Amazon's website.
