Covid-19 vaccination sessions scheduled on Saturday and Sunday, the 27th and 28th of February, won't be held anywhere in the country as the Co-Win app is getting an upgrade.
The app is being upgraded in order to link the first phase of vaccination into the second phase starting from March 1.
As of now, there is no option for self-registration on the app, as inoculation of healthcare staff and other frontline workers is being done on the basis of the database procured from concerned govt departments.
The government also has the data of senior citizens based on electoral rolls. But for people with co-morbidities, who are also included in this phase starting from Monday, the option of self-registration had to be included.
The self-registration option will be available from March 1 to enable senior citizens and people above 45 years of age with co-morbidities to register themselves on the app.
