Amidst lockdown fears triggered by the imposition of night curfew in the national capital following a surge in Covid-19 cases, several migrant workers were seen leaving Delhi and heading towards their native places. News ANI reported that migrants worry that they might get stuck again if another lockdown is imposed in the Capital.

Thousands of migrant workers had to walk 100s of kilometers in heat to reach their villages from cities during the last year's national lockdown. The Delhi government of Tuesday imposed a night curfew in the national capital from 10 pm to 5 am. The order will be imposed with immediate effect till April 30.
Delhi reported 5,506 new Covid-19 cases and 20 deaths on Wednesday. This is the highest single-day spike of coronavirus infections in the national capital this year.
