The National Investigation Agency has sent notices to over a dozen of people, including a journalist, farmer leaders associated with the agitation against three farm laws in connection with its probe into the Sikh For Justice case, reports said. Reportedly farmer leaders have been called as witnesses to ascertain certain details of the case.
The NIA has summoned Baldev Singh Sirsa, president of the Lok Bhalai lnsaf Welfare Society which is one of the farmers’ unions participating in talks with the Government, India Today reported. Sirsa has been summoned for questioning on January 17.
