Oct 29, 2019 17:35 IST

Mountaineer Nirmal Purja from Nepal reached Shishapangma's peak on Tuesday and broke the record for climbing world's 14 highest mountains, all over 8,000 metres, in just seven months. Interestingly, the previous record was set in seven years, 11 months and 14 days. Purja was also the person who took the viral photo of the "traffic jam" on Mt Everest.
