After sending magnificent postcards from Mars, NASA's Perseverance rover has now sent mesmerising audio from the surface of the red planet Mars. They were recorded by the microphone attached on the side of the rover.
In the first set, sounds from the rover itself dominate while in the second set, the sounds from Mars are more audible. One can even hear sounds of the wind.
This is the first time ever that a Mars rover has been equipped with a microphone.
NASA also released a first-of-its-kind video of its rover Perseverance landing on the surface of the Red Planet Mars.
According to members of the landing team, the quality of the footage is so good, it feels as if you're riding along.
