NASA's InSight lands on Mars

Nasa's Mars lander InSight touched down safely on the surface of the Red Planet on Monday. The lander is on a two year mission to explore the deep interior of another world. The landing capped a six month journey of 301 million miles from Earth following its launch from California in May. InSight will take seismic and temperature readings to unlock mysteries about how Mars formed, which will also shed new light on the origins of the Earth
