After a gap of almost three months, the main museum in Rome reopened for the public. To avoid any Covid-19 contagion, the first visitors at the Capitoline Museum had to get their temperatures checked and hands santised before entering. For the first time, visitors got to enjoy ancient art pieces in near empty rooms at one of Italy's busiest museums. Another iconic art attraction, the Boboli Gardens of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence will welcome visitors from Thursday. Among 100 museums in Brussels, only 10 have reopened including the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences Museum. Experts have warned that one in eight museums across the world could face closure due the pandemic.
