Young Covid-19 patients in Mumbai have been reporting symptoms similar to those seen in Kawasaki disease. According to reports, a 14-year-old patient was admitted to a private hospital with rashes and fever, and she subsequently tested positive for Covid-19. These symptoms first appeared in countries like the US, UK, Spain and Italy. The WHO calls this rare combination Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome. It is known to primarily affect children below the age of five years of age.
