Days after Producers Guild asked the state governments to allow filmmakers to begin the production work, the Multiplex Associations of India has now requested the Central government to allow them to reopen the theatres from June 30. According to Mid-Day, the association has shared the guidelines and plans to ensure the safety and hygiene at the theatres & is now waiting for a response from the government. Hoping that the government approves the guidelines, an association member said they hope that theatres will reopen between June 15 and June 30.
