A woman in Madhya Pradesh's Jhabua district was beaten and forced to carry her husband on her shoulders as 'punishment'.
The village panchayat decided to 'punish' the woman after her husband told them he suspected her of having an affair with another man.
As the mother of three struggled to walk and balance herself the villagers heckled her and took videos. The shocking video has now gone viral.
After she complained to the police, seven villagers, including the woman's husband, have been charged, according to police.
