Morris steals Delhi's thunder, Royals pull off a 3-wicket win

Apr 15, 2021 23:16 IST | By Editorji News Desk

It has now been 3 straight days that the team which was on course for a win till the 15th over ended up on the losing side in IPL, as Rajasthan Royals stole Delhi's thunder to pull off a sensational 3-wicket win. Batting first, Delhi were off to a horrible start and were reduced to 37/4. Pant took the onus upon himself and scored a much-needed half-century under pressure, helping his side finished at 147/8. What seemed like an easy run chase for the Royals proved to be otherwise. Delhi pacers rattled Rajasthan and reduced them to 42/5. David Miller counter attacked with a 43-ball-62 but it was Chris Morris who turned out to be the hero. His unbeaten 18-ball-36 powered Royals to their first win vs Delhi in 6 outings.
