Country star Morgan Wallen is facing consequences after a video of him shouting a racial slur surfaced on social media. The video showed Wallen outside a home in Nashville, Tennessee, yelling profanities.
Following the incident, The Academy of Country Music announced that it will 'halt' Morgan's involvement and eligibility at this year's ACM awards after the singer used a racial slur.
Though Wallen has apologised for the video and said that he is embarrassed and sorry, record label Big Loud Records has suspended his contract indefinitely
