After NBA side Milwaukee Bucks boycotted their quarterfinal game, players from the Women's NBA Atlanta Dream and Washington Mystics too joined the boycott as they took the court in t-shirts with bullet holes in the back on Wednesday. The 7 bullet holes the players wore represented the 7 shots police fired into Jacob Blake, an unarmed black man, earlier in the week. Meanwhile, tennis star Naomi Osaka too pulled out of her semifinal event at the Western & Southern Open. Osaka said that there are some more important matters other than tennis in the United States which is why she had decided not to play.
