The Delhi Commission for Women says staff members at a shelter home in Dwarka, sexually abused girls and used chilli powder on their private parts, as punishment for not keeping their rooms tidy, and were made to do menial chores. The girls between the age group of 6 to 15, confided the horror to a visiting team of the women's panel. Acting on a complaint by the DCW chief, the police have registered a case and taken up the investigations
