They say, where there is will, there is a way.
Sonal Sharma, the daughter of a milkman in Rajasthan's Udaipur, has studied all her life in a cowshed. For her, a regular day has been waking up at 4 am to help her father milk the cows, clean the shed, and then distributing milk to locals.
But she has now qualified to become a judge, after cracking the Rajasthan Judicial Service (RJS) examination. After training for a year, Sonal will be posted as a first-class magistrate in a sessions court in Rajasthan.
Reports say, she would cycle all the to college and spend whatever time she could in the library making notes. After being selected as a judge, Sonal told reporters that she would help ease the burden on her parents and pay back the education loan they had taken for her.
