Migrants workers in Maharashtra and Delhi are making beelines again to return to their native places as Covid second wave has triggered fears of another lockdown.

Huge crowds can be seen outside Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai as migrant workers leave the city amid rising Covid crisis. The financial capital is also witnessing queues at outstation bus stops.

Hordes of migrant workers from MP, UP and Bihar are leaving Maharahstra. Indore Police has set up snack counters for workers returning from Maharashtra and those enroute UP.

Similar scenes are seen at Delhi's inter-state bus terminus as the Capital has imposed curns amid record spike in cases.

A government control room set up in Ranchi for counselling of migrant labourers is seen a flurry of SOS calls from workers mainly in Maharashtra and Delhi, seeking to return home, officials said.
