Amidst the Me Too movement, Mahesh Bhupathi spoke up about Sajid Khan and recounted an incident when his wife, Lara Dutta, had complained about how one of her Housefull co-stars was being mistreated by the film's director Sajid Khan. Bhupathi said Lara spoke about the incident before their marriage and had witnessed Sajid being rude and vulgar to her co-stars.
