Famously called ‘Kral Koor’, which in Kashmiri means 'potter girl', Saima took to pottery with an aim to cure her depression.
a civil engineer in the Public Works Department of Jammu and Kashmir, she hopes to one day set up her own institute in the valley. Over the weekends, she frequents places in the valley that were once bustling with potters and is hopeful about getting the respect the art form deserves.
