Mayank Agarwal: Answer to India's opening woes?

Dec 26, 2018 10:16 IST

Indian batsman Mayank Agarwal made a stunning debut as he scored 76 against Australia on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test. His innings of 76 might not be a record breaking knock but definitely helped India make a strong start to the 3rd Test. The 27-year old from Karnataka batted with confidence as he smashed 8 fours and six to score 76 off 161 balls on his debut in the longest format of the game. Mayank, who scored scored a triple-hundred and three centuries with an average of 76 in Ranji Trophy last season is the 295th Indian to play Test cricket.
