The streets of Pakistan's largest city, Karachi, were fumigated on Wednesday as part of efforts to contain the spread of the new coronavirus. At least 20 workers equipped with modern machines took part in the fumigation spraying, which involves the purifying of areas by using fumes of certain chemicals. The spraying was ordered by the Sindh province government. Sindh province has so far reported more than 1,000 positive cases of Covid-19 and 20 deaths. Pakistan has reported over 4,000 positive cases and 58 people have died.
