Lee's friends and colleagues paid tribute to the legend at a Hollywood memorial, as military bagpipers set a solemn mood. In attendance were also fans dressed as Spider-Man, Black Panther and Wolverine among others. Lee's only child, daughter JC Lee, made a rare public appearance, walking along the red carpet thanking fans and reporters.

Rapper Pop Smoke has been shot dead in an apparent robbery case in California on Wednesday. The 20-year-old rapper was at his home in Hollywood Hills when two men wearing hoodies and masks entered the house and fired multiple shots. Police say no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
