In a volatile session, the domestic markets on Thursday ended flat after failing to hold onto early gains. Domestic markets closed June series in red for the first time in 3 months. Sensex ended flat at 39,586 while Nifty also failed to hold on to 11,900 and settled at 11,841. However, broader markets outperformed peers as the market breadth remained in favour of declines.
