Markets on Friday ended higher clocking the longest stretch of weekly gains in nearly seven months. Sensex ended 127 points higher while Nifty rallied to gain 54 points at closing led by metal and auto stocks. Both indices gained 7% this month and over 1% for the week registering a sixth straight weekly rise. Midcaps outperformed benchmark indices rising nearly 1% while Nifty Bank posted biggest ever gains in absolute terms in FY19.
