In connection with the illegal telephone connection case Maran brothers have appeared before the court. While Dayanidhi Maran was the minister for telecommunication he misused his power to issue more than 700 telephone connections to a private TV station .CBI has registered a case against that. For framing charges kalanidhi, Dayanidhi and 5 others appeared before the court. The magistrate framed the charges and said that there was a prima facie evidence and he would start examining the witnesses from 19th February onwards.
