In a remarkable show of human grit and invention, French inventor Franky Zapata flew from France to England on an airborne hoverboard on Sunday. The 40-year-old completed the 35-kilometre journey in just 22 minutes, only stopping once to refuel. This is his second attempt at the feat, he tried the same 10 days ago but stopped due to collision with a refueling boat. Recounting how tough the task is, he said "It's not easy, you know. You feel the pain in the leg, you know, it's burning, the muscle is burning. When you’re flying very fast like 160 to 170 kilometres per hour, your body resists the wind, and because the board is attached to my feet, all my body has to resist to the wind"
