Manchester City comfortably secured the top position on the Premier League table as they registered a 3-1 win against Everton at Goodison Park on Thursday. While Phil Foden with his goal in the 32nd minute provided the lead for his side, a strike from Everton's Richarlison 5 minutes later, levelled the game. However, a threatening performance from Pep Guardiola's men in the second half of the game helped them secure their 12th straight win in the league. Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva, both picked one goal each in the 53rd min and 77th min respectively for City. With the victory, Man City is now 10 points ahead of second-placed Manchester United in the Premier League table.
