4 footballers from Chelsea have tested positive for Covid-19 including Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic and Fikayo Tomori. All first-team players have been kept in isolation along with 4 more players who have got in touch with those infected. The pre-season plans for Chelsea are thrown into disarray ahead of the Premier League's return in mid-September. With 8 squad members in 14-day isolation, there are good chances that some might even miss the opening game of the season on 15th September against Brighton. A total of 14 positive cases have been confirmed so far across 12 clubs in the English Premier League.
