Maharashtra govt gives a go ahead for IPL games in Mumbai

Feb 28, 2021 10:50 IST | By ANI

As the BCCI shortlisted Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Delhi to host IPL 2021, the Times of India has learnt that the Maharashtra government has given a go ahead for matches at the Wankhede Stadium. However, just like the 3 ODIs vs England in Pune, no spectators will be allowed in Mumbai for this year's IPL. While some stadiums may allow up to 50% fans for the 14th edition of the cash-rich league, which is likely to begin in the 2nd week of April.
