The Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday arrested the son-in-law of Maharashtra cabinet minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik in a drugs case. Sameer Khan, Malik's son-in-law, was called for questioning at the NCB's Ballard Estate office in South Mumbai in the morning. The agency found an alleged online transaction of Rs 20,000 between him and one of the accused in the drugs case. Reacting to the arrest, Malik tweeted that nobody is above the law and it should be applied without any discrimination.

India is set to witness a historic moment on Saturday as the vaccination drive against the novel coronavirus&nbsp;begins.&nbsp;Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually launch the world's largest vaccination programme at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and almost three lakh beneficiaries, belonging to the priority groups, will be administered the dose at over 3,006 vaccination sites across the country.
Priority groups like healthcare&nbsp;workers and frontline&nbsp;workers will receive the jab first.&nbsp;Only pre-registered beneficiaries will be vaccinated and there will be no on-the-spot registrations.
Two vaccines -- Oxford Covid vaccine Covishield manufactured by the Serum Institute of India, and indigenously developed Covaxin by the Bharat Biotech -- will be administered to priority groups. Till now, the Central government has procured 1.1 crore Covishield and 55 lakh Covaxin vaccines at a cost of Rs 200 and Rs 206 per dose, respectively.
The second dose of the Covid vaccine will be administered after an interval of fourteen days but interchanging Covid-19 vaccines is not allowed. The mild adverse impacts of the shots could be headache, fatigue, pain in muscle and fever.
