Tiger Woods has undergone successful surgery to fix his broken leg after the crash in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Woods was rescued from the wreckage of his car by first responders and was rushed to a hospital. In a statement from his team, Woods is now responding to treatment and is conscious. The medical update also confirmed that Woods suffered multiple fractures in his leg and a rod was inserted during the surgery. A number of screws were also put in place to hold his ankle together. The team provided all the necessary medical updates as the surgery and subsequent rehabilitation is likely to keep Tiger out of a golf course for a long time.
