According to a study conducted by University College London, women who work for more than 55 hours a week are at a greater risk of depression. But the same is not true for men. Researchers believe that the gender difference is because women have an additional burden of domestic work that men may not have. Data from more than 23,000 British adults was tracked since 2009 for the purpose of the study. The findings were published in the British Medical Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.
