Lok Sabha polls: big fights to watch out for in Phase 4
72 parliamentary constituencies spread across 9 states will vote in Phase 4 of the Lok Sabha election on Monday and this phase will decide the fate of 943 candidates. All eyes in this phase are on the Begusarai Lok Sabha seat in Bihar, where CPI's Kanhaiya Kumar is pitted against Union Minister Giriraj Singh. In MP, the Congress stronghold of Chhindwara will also cast their vote, where CM Kamal Nath's son Nakul is in fray. In Uttar Pradesh, a direct BJP-mahagatbandhan fight is expected on most of the 13 seats, with Kannauj being a prestige battle for the Samajwadi party. Former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav's wife Dimple is seeking re-election from Kannauj. In the Mumbai South Lok Sabha seat, sitting Sena MP Arvind Sawant is facing stiff competition from Congress' Milind Deora.Voters in West Bengal's Asansol will also vote in phase 4, Union Minister Babul Supriyo is up against former actress and Trinamool MP Moonmoon Sen.
