A day before the fourth phase of nationwide lockdown ends, the Ministry of Home Affairs Saturday said the curbs will be in place in containment zones till June 30. The MHA said all economic activities can restart in a phased manner outside the containment zones with standard operating procedures to be prescribed by the Health Ministry. Religious places, hotels and restaurants will also be allowed from June 8. A decision on reopening schools will be taken in July, after consultations with schools. Night curfew, however, will remain in force from 9 pm to 5 am across the country.
