With a massive cash crunch looming, Premier League side Liverpool has decided to postpone a series of construction activities at the Anfield. The club had originally planned to increase the seating capacity of one of their stands. The project has now been delayed by 12 months. The development project would have raised the capacity of the iconic facility by 7,000 and was likely to cost over $75 million. Premier League remains suspended in England as the nation struggles with the virus outbreak and that has put an extra burden on all football clubs in the league.
