Left Vs Right: Giriraj, Kanhaiya in a heated contest

The cynosure of all eyes in this phase is the Begusarai seat in Bihar which will witness an electrifying contest between the political Left and the Right with CPI debutant Kanhaiya Kumar taking on firebrand BJP leader Giriraj Singh. After initial reluctance, BJP’s Giriraj Singh, who is a sitting MP from Nawada, agreed to contest Begusaria. The contest is triangular because Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Tanveer Hassan has strong vote base in this Muslim-dominated constituency.
