Leaders from across the political spectrum congratulated India Air Force for surgical strike. While BJP’s Ram Madhav said that ‘anguished’ Indians were ‘delighted’, human resource development minister Prakash Javadekar said India stood behind armed forces. Cong chief Rahul Gandhi also lauded the IAF. His party colleague Navjot Singh Sidhu, who faced flak for his Pulwama remark, said no one can be neutral in a war. Stating that IAF also means India’s Amazing Fighters, Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee too hailed the armed forces. BSP chief also joined the list of leaders, but she targeted PM Modi, saying such strike earlier could have prevented Pulwama convoy attack.
