In a major embarrassment for the J&K administration, the Anti-Corruption Bureau, which re-investigated the 2009 Gulmarg land scandal, has again indicted the advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, The Indian Express has reported. Retired IAS officer Baseer Ahmad Khan was first chargesheeted and arrested in 2013, but was released on bail. Khan went on to become Kashmir's Divisional Commissioner. He was named Advisor to the L-G by the Centre in March this year.
