Lance Klusener appointed Afghanistan's cricket coach

Former South African cricketer Lance Klusener has been appointed as Afghanistan's new cricket coach replacing West Indian Phil Simmons, whose contract ended after this year's World Cup.  Klusener's first assignment will be the all-format series against West Indies in November- December. The all-rounder, who played 49 Tests and 171 ODIs for Proteas, has coached Zimbabwe, South Africa and IPL side Mumbai Indians before this.
