Kiwi cricketer doing odd jobs to fund trip back home

Mar 26, 2020 19:14 IST

Former New Zealand fast bowler Ian O'Brien has resorted to doing odd-jobs in England as he is stuck due to the national lockdown. The former pacer who has played 22 Tests, 10 ODIs and four T20Is for the Blackcaps is forced to offer his services for driving & speaking over skype as he collects money for his trip home. In New Zealand, O'Brien has an elderly mother, a wife & two kids who are waiting as he is currently stuck in England due to the lockdown because of coronavirus. Interestingly, he has made a resume for himself which he posted on twitter which lists batting against Dale Steyn & bowling to Virender Sehwag as a big achievement.
