'Khela Hobe' vs 'Jai Shri Ram': election fever grips popular Bengal sweet shops

Popular sweet shops in Bengal are churning out new delicacies, capturing the slogan war between main rivals BJP and TMC ahead of the upcoming polls in the state.

Balaram Mallick Radharam Mallick has created different kinds of sandesh with slogans and logos of the leading parties. The white and orange sandesh, of the BJP reads 'Jai Shri Ram' while the white and green one of the Trinamool Congress reads 'Khela Hobe'.

Among other delicacies on sale include Didi Sandesh, Modi Sandesh with their images on them and other mishtis with symbols of TMC and BJP etched on them.

Another shop, Felu Modak in Rishra has jumped on to the bandwagon. They are selling three types of sandesh with popular slogan written on it.

The elections are set to begin on the 27th of March in the state.
