Supermodel Kendall Jenner recently announced the launch of her own brand of tequila on Instagram. 'For almost 4 years I’ve been on a journey to create the best-tasting tequila,' the fashion it-girl wrote in a post.
But not everyone is pleased with Jenner's 818 Tequila. The Kardashian sister has been accused of exploiting Mexican culture for personal profit by people on social media.
'Tequila production is traditionally a family business in Mexico. I think it’s disgusting that another rich white celeb is appropriating Mexican culture,' reads one of the comments on Kendall's post.
While others were just amused that Jenner still doesn't know how to drink tequila properly. "It took her 4 years to create a “good tequila” and then she proceeds to drink it with ice," one comment read.
