Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday tightened the regulations to check the spread of the novel coronavirus in Delhi. He also emphasised that there was no need for a lockdown just yet but if required a lockdown will be enforced in Delhi. In view of the Janata curfew, only 50% buses will ply on Sunday. This is to ensure movement in case of an emergency. Also, gathering of over 5 people will not be allowed anywhere. Earlier it was restricted to 20 people. Other measures include a 50% increase in ration which will be given free of cost. The pension for widows, senior citizens and specially-abled will be doubled. Also, free lunch and dinner will be served at all night shelters. Kejriwal said that these measures will ensure people are not hit hard by the cutbacks brought by a pandemic.
