New seasons of Call of Duty franchise postponed amid US unrest

In the wake of the nationwide protests in the US, following the death of George Floyd, game developer Activision took to twitter to announce that it's postponing the new seasons of its first-person shooter franchise that includes Call of Duty: Mobile, Modern Warfare, and Warzone. The new seasons were all set to launch this week, but Activision tweeted that "right now, it’s time for those speaking up equality, justice and change to be seen and heard." Recently, Sony also delayed it's PlayStation 5 gameplay reveal amid unrest in the US, denouncing "systemic racism and violence against the Black community.
