Kejriwal: Covid-19 beds to be increased in few Delhi hospitals

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday his government will increase the number of normal and intensive care unit beds reserved for Covid-19 patients in the national capital.

The AAP leader said his government is “keeping a close watch and will take all necessary steps”.

On Monday reports had said that the ICU beds for Covid-19 patients in private hospitals were running out since the city have been witnessing over 1500 daily cases since last six days.

In a tweet, the chief minister urged people to follow Covid-19 protocol.
