South Africa's first Test tour of Pakistan in 14 years didn't start as the visitors would have expected it to as Babar Azam's men beat the Proteas by 7 wickets in Karachi. A batting collapse in the 2nd innings saw South Africa lose last 8 wickets for just 70 runs and were bowled out for 245. Nauman Ali became the 7th oldest bowler ever to take a 5-wicket haul on Test debut. Chasing just 88 to win, Pakistan were reduced to 23/2 but Azhar Ali's unbeaten 31 and 30 by Babar took the hosts over the finish line with 1 day to spare. Pakistan has now taken an unassailable 1-0 lead in the 2-match Test series.
