The song, titled ‘Heated’, has been called out by disability equality charity Scope as it comprises a derogatory term that is often used to demean people with spastic cerebral palsy. The term occurs twice in the song that has been co-written by Canadian star Drake.
A representative for the singer told Insider that the song’s lyric will be changed. ‘The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced,’ the statement said.
US musician Lizzo was also called out for using the same term in the song ‘Grrrls’, from her album ‘Special’ in June. After facing backlash, Lizzo apologised and replaced the lyric, saying that she had never wanted to ‘promote derogatory language’. ‘As a fat Black woman in America, I have had many hurtful words used against me so I understand the power words can have (whether intentionally, or in my case, unintentionally.),’ she said.
Disability charity Scope has appreciated Beyoncé for acting swiftly after being called out this thoughtless lyric.

The director duo, who are producing the actor&rsquo;s debut web show, were recently asked a hypothetical question on who should play the new Captain Marvel, Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra? They were quick to pick the latter. In a clip that is doing the rounds online, Anthony and Joe Russo said they are huge fans of Priyanka and also good friends with her.&nbsp;
&nbsp;&lsquo;We are working on a project. We are producing a show, &lsquo;Citadel&rsquo;,&rsquo; they said.

Anthony and Joe directed a mid-credits scene in the 2019 film &lsquo;Captain Marvel&rsquo;, &nbsp;in which the titular character meets Avengers.
In a previous interview with indianexpress.com, Joe Russo said Priyanka is an incredible star.&nbsp;
&lsquo;I mean I think she has been amazing. We just had a table read of the show a couple of days ago and it was fantastic. We are so proud of that show. We are excited for audiences to see it. We are just beginning production on it now,&rsquo; he said.
Priyanka wrapped up the shoot of &lsquo;Citadel&rsquo; a few weeks ago. She now has Hollywood films Ending Things&rsquo; and &lsquo;It's All Coming Back&rsquo; in the pipeline along with Farhan Akhtar's &lsquo;Jee Le Zaraa&rsquo;, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.

Canadian pop singer Shawn Mendes has cancelled his remaining tour dates, stating that he has put his health as his ‘first priority’ and that he needs ‘time to heal.’ In a statement posted to his Instagram, the singer wrote, ‘As you guys know, I had to postpone the past few weeks of shows since I wasn't totally prepared for the toll that being back on the road would take on me. I started this tour excited to finally get back to playing live after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is I was not all ready for how difficult touring would be after this time away.’
He added that after speaking with his team and working with an incredible group of health professionals, it has become clearer that he needs to take the time to come back stronger. 
‘I unfortunately have to cancel the rest of the tour dates in North America, and the UK / Europe,’ he wrote.
Concluding his note, the singer promised that he’ll be back as soon as he’s taken the right time to heal.
‘I love you all and thank you all so much for supporting me and sticking by me on this journey,’ the singer said.

The famous pop artist, Britney Spears is ready to roll! The singer has collaborated with the English singer, Elton John for a duet. The duo will be working together to re-record John's 1971 song, "Tiny Dancer" giving it a new touch, according to reports in Page Six and TMZ.
Reportedly, the 40-year-old met with John last week in a Beverly Hills recording studio for a new version of the song. The track is to be released next month by Universal Music.

Kanye West sets up college fund for George Floyd’s daughter

Rapper&nbsp;Kanye West who has been recently named as the highest-paid musician by Forbes has set up a college fund to cover the future tuition fees for late George Floyd's 6-year-old daughter.&nbsp;Confirming the news,&nbsp;West's representative told a leading Hollywood daily that the rapper has donated $2 million to charities associated with Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd.

Steve Martin recently announced his plans to retire from acting. The actor, who currently stars in the Hulu show ‘Only Murders in the Building, told The Hollywood Reporter that he is not going to seek other TV shows, movies or cameos. ‘This is, weirdly it,’ he said.  
In a career spanning six decades, Steve Martin has worn many hats- comedian, actor, writer, producer, and musician. He is now one Tony Award away from becoming an EGOT (Emmy-Grammy-Oscar-Tony) winner.

Stand-up comedian 
Steve Martin was born in Texas and raised in California. He started his career as a writer on the 1960s show ‘The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour’, for which he bagged an Emmy in 1969. He then went on to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 1970s, which he hosted 15 times, and gained further recognition by performing stand-up comedy in his own offbeat style by incorporating music and props. 
In 1980s, Steve retired from stand-up and moved on to acting. Later, he was awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2005. 
In 2016, he returned to stand-up when he opened for Jerry Seinfeld. That year, he went on a national tour with Martin Short, his ‘Only Murders in the Building’ co-star. The duo released a Netflix special, titled ‘An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life’, in 2018. 
Acknowledged actor 
Steve Martin has starred in numerous movie. He is best known for his role in films like ‘Three Amigos’ (1986), ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ (1987), and ‘Father of the Bride’ and ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ franchises. 
The actor has never been nominated for an Oscar, but he received an honorary award in 2013.  
Steve wrote and composed his first Broadway musical ‘Bright Star’ in 2016, for which he received five Tony nominations. 
Steve has been a co-creator of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ since 2021, in which he features as an amateur podcaster. The show is currently nominated for seven Emmys, three of them being for Steve Martin. 
Grammy-winning musician 
Steve Martin started playing the banjo as a teenager. In the 19070s, he incorporated the instrument in his stand-up routines. He won a Grammy for his cover of Earl Scrugg's ‘Foggy Mountain Breakdown’ in 2002. 
‘The Crow: New Songs for the 5-String Banjo’ is his first and only music album which was released in 2009. The album won him the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album in 2010.

Actor Ezra Miller has been charged with felony burglary in Stamford, Vermont, the latest in a string of incidents involving the embattled star of “The Flash.”
In a report Monday (8 AUGUST 2022), Vermont State Police said they responded to a burglary complaint in Stamford on May 1 and found several bottles of alcohol were taken from a residence while the homeowners weren't present. Miller was charged after police consulted surveillance footage and interviewed witnesses.
The police report said Miller was located shortly before midnight Sunday and was issued a citation to appear for arraignment in Vermont Superior Court on Sept. 26.
The felony charge adds to Miller's mounting legal woes and reports of erratic behavior. The 29-year-old actor was arrested twice earlier this year in Hawaii, including for disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar. The second incident was for second-degree assault.
The parents of 18-year-old Tokata Iron Eyes, a Native American activist, also earlier this year filed a protection order against Miller, accusing the actor of grooming their child and other inappropriate behavior with her as a minor from the age of 12. Tokata Iron Eyes recently told Insider that those allegations were false.
Attorneys for Miller didn't immediately respond to requests for comment on the Vermont felony charge or the protection order related to Tokata Iron Eyes.
After appearing in several films for Warner Bros. and D.C. Films as the Flash, Miller stars in the upcoming standalone film “The Flash,” due out in June 2023. Though Warner Bros. last week axed the nearly completed “Batgirl” film, the studio has suggested it remains committed to releasing “The Flash.”
In an earnings report last week, David Zaslav, chief executive of Warner Bros. Discovery referenced “The Flash.” “We have seen ‘The Flash,’ ‘Black Adam’ and ’Shazam 2. We are very excited about them," said Zaslav. "We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better.”

Olivia Newton-John, best known for portraying the role of Sandy in smash-hit film ‘Grease’, died on Monday morning, according to a statement from her husband John Easterling. She was 73. The statement on the singer’s verified Instagram account read, ‘Dame Olivia Newton-John passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time.’

Post this announcement, Dhanush took to Twitter on Saturday and confirmed that he will be reprising his role as Avik San aka The Lone Wolf alongside Ryan Gosling's Six. He shared an audio clip on his social media account, captioned, ‘The Gray Man universe is expanding and the sequel is coming… Lone Wolf is ready, are you?’
He also hints at the storyline for the forthcoming film in the audio clip.‘Six, this is Lone Wolf. I hear we are both looking for the same man. I want to offer you some advice. Stop looking. You are wasting your time. Because if I find him first, there will be nothing for you to look for. And if you find him first, then I will find you. Nothing personal,’ he says.
