A gruesome video of a Kabul blast site, showing bloodied children standing over an unconscious woman sparked fresh outrage in Afghanistan.
At least two people were killed and five others wounded in the explosion on Sunday, which appeared to target security forces in the Afghan capital, said Kabul police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.
The video showed bodies bloodied and blackened lying on the asphalt, while two small children can be seen crying over an unconscious woman. At one point, one of the children can be seen saying "Mother, get up!" Social media users in Afghanistan expressed horror over the images and hashtag "Mother get up!" started trending.
