Juventus continued their remarkable run in Serie A as they beat Genoa 3-1 on Tuesday night to further strengthen their lead at the top of the table. After a goalless first-half, Paulo Dybala opened the scoring for Juventus in the 50th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo then doubled the lead with a stunning 25-yard strike just 6 minutes later. His 24th goal of the season came on a day when CR7's great rival Lionel Messi joined him in the 700-goal club in his side's 2-2 draw against Atletico Madrid. Ronaldo though is still 26 goals ahead of the Argentine. Douglas Costa then netted a 3rd for Juventus before Genoa scored a consolation goal. Juventus' 6th consecutive win took them to 72 points, 4 clear of second placed Lazio who also tasted victory on the same night.
