Delhi High Court judge Justice S Muralidhar, who on Wednesday grilled the centre, the state government and the Delhi Police over the violence in the national capital, has been transferred to the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The notification of the transfer of Justice Muralidhar, was issued on Wednesday night by the centre, two weeks after it had been recommended by the Supreme Court collegium on February 12. While hearing the delhi violence case, Justice Murlidhar pulled up the delhi police for inaction, and said that another 1984-like situation cannot happen in the country.
